Solar Engineer

We are in need of an experienced solar engineer, well-versed at total solar PV system design, and with some implementation experience.

Utility scale, Commercial & Industrial, and/or Off-Grid solar design experience is required, including the following:

1. Solar PV plant layouts
2. Yield analysis with shading scene
3. DC string layouts with required electrical calculations
4. AC cable layouts with required electrical calculations
5. Electrical component design and selection
6. Bill of Material creation
7. Budget and proposal generation

Pay will be in accordance with proven experience.

Experience:

• PVsyst Solar Design: 3 years (Required)
• Detailed Electrical Design: 4 years (Required)
• Solar Tracker Design in PVsyst: 2 years (Required)
• Utility Scale (above 20 MWp) Solar Design: 2 years (Required)
